LandingAI announced a new partnership with Snowflake, which will enable organizations to harness the power of computer vision on unstructured data directly within their Snowflake account. Through this collaboration, models can be trained within the LandingAI platform and deployed into Snowflake as User-Defined Functions (UDFs). Additionally, customers will be able to deploy pre-trained, industry-standard models provided by LandingAI through the Snowflake Marketplace as Snowflake Native Applications. The models can be executed using configurable hardware options, including Snowflake warehouses or GPUs through Snowpark Container Services (launching in private preview). All models will be accompanied by a Streamlit-in-Snowflake (SiS) UI (launching in public preview soon), enabling non-technical users to unlock the potential of their unstructured data.

With this integration, LandingAI is bringing the models and compute closer to the data, improving security and governance while allowing more control over the infrastructure that the model is running on—all without adding operational overhead from your engineering team. Snowflake customers can now optimize their AI-driven operations and unlock the full potential of unstructured data through LandingAI’s cutting-edge computer vision technology.

This latest collaboration will drive operational efficiency and foster innovation in these specific sectors, delivering tailored AI-driven solutions to address unique needs.

“LandingAI’s partnership with Snowflake unlocks the power of computer vision on unstructured data. Seamlessly integrated within Snowflake, organizations will be able to train, deploy, and access LandingAI models as UDFs or as Snowflake Native Applications,” said Tarik Dwiek, Head of Technology Alliances at Snowflake. “Our integration will offer joint customers the flexibility to run their ML models using configurable options, to help meet the scalability challenges of even the most demanding enterprises. This tight integration combined with LandingAI’s data-centric approach will enhance model performance, security, and governance, revolutionizing AI-driven operations with cutting-edge computer vision technology.”

To further extend the benefits of LandingAI’s technology to Snowflake users, numerous LandingAI apps will be made available on the Snowflake Marketplace in the future. This extensive portfolio of applications encompasses a wide range of computer vision solutions, tailored to address industry and function-specific needs.

By delivering these apps through the Snowflake Marketplace, LandingAI simplifies access and deployment, enabling customers to seamlessly integrate advanced computer vision capabilities into their existing Snowflake accounts.

Andrew Ng, founder and CEO of LandingAI and a globally recognized AI visionary, will be speaking on the future of AI during a panel discussion at Snowflake Summit 2023, the world’s largest data, apps, and AI event, June 26-29 in Las Vegas. His participation underscores LandingAI’s commitment to both the Snowflake community as well as sharing the company’s vision for the transformative potential of AI across all industries.
